A light-rendered wall, a white aluminium pergola, or immaculate outdoor furniture form a strict visual vocabulary. Introducing a dark heater or an unattractive metal grille creates a visual break that modern design rejects.

The Heatscope Pure White has been specifically designed to solve this integration challenge. Its extruded aluminium body benefits from a high-temperature powder coating, treated against UV rays to guarantee a total absence of yellowing over the seasons.

The real feat lies in its front panel: a subtly convex white SCHOTT NEXTREMA® glass-ceramic panel. This engineering broadens the cone of infrared heat diffusion while delivering a monolithic appearance of absolute purity. When switched off, the unit blends into light ceilings. When switched on, it filters the light intensity of the carbon element so that only a very discreet soft glow remains visible (below 300 lux), delivering intense heat without ever dazzling.

Somfy® io-homecontrol protocol: The superiority of status feedback

The Smartbox Somfy® supplied with this system does more than simply make your heater “connected”. It uses the io-homecontrol (I/O) radio protocol, the most advanced and secure standard in the Somfy ecosystem, far surpassing the older one-way RTS protocol.

The revolution of I/O technology lies in its bidirectional communication. The device does not merely receive a command; it confirms its execution in real time to your home automation hub. When you adjust your heater’s power from the TaHoma® application on your smartphone, the interface visually confirms that the unit is switched on and at which power level it is operating (50% or 100%).

Scenarios and automations: A home that adapts to you

The integration of the Smartbox Somfy® I/O radically transforms the way you use your terrace. The Heatscope Pure becomes a fully-fledged element of your TaHoma® lifestyle scenarios, interacting in perfect synergy with your roller shutters, awnings, lighting, or weather sensors.

• "Autumn evening" scenario: With a single click on your smartphone (or via a voice command through Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri), your awnings come down to block the breeze, the lights switch on at 60%, and the Heatscope Pure activates at half power (1500W) to preheat the area.
• "Global safety" scenario: Schedule the simultaneous shutdown of all outdoor equipment (lights, sockets and heaters) at a specific time, ensuring a complete shutdown without human intervention.
• Sensor-based automation: Pair the heater with a Somfy temperature sensor. If the temperature drops below 15°C while your sliding glass door is open, the heater switches on automatically.

Standard Smartbox or Somfy®: How to make the right choice?

The Heatscope Pure range offers two control modules: the Standard Smartbox (with a classic infrared remote control) and the Somfy® I/O Smartbox. Choosing the right module is essential for the long-term relevance of your installation.

The Standard version is perfect for a simple renovation project without any home automation plans. It offers immediate comfort through its short-range remote control (ON/OFF, 50%, 100%) without requiring an internet hub or complex configuration.

The Somfy® I/O version (presented here) is the absolute and unavoidable choice if your home is already equipped with a TaHoma hub, or if you are building a property with a “Smart Home” vision. The initial price difference is more than offset by the added technological value it provides (worldwide remote control, voice control, status feedback, time scheduling). It is an intelligent investment that directly enhances the value of your property.

Thermodynamic performance and IP65 weatherproofing

Behind its refined aesthetic, the Pure White conceals monumental thermal engineering. Its dual carbon fibre elements develop 3000 Watts of raw power, capable of deeply heating materials and people within seconds.

Depending on its exposure to wind and installation height (recommended between 2.10 m and 2.70 m), its coverage capacities are as follows:

• 18 m² in insulated indoor spaces: (Conservatories, large winter gardens, workshops). Optimal efficiency guaranteed.
• 15 m² in protected outdoor spaces: (Pergolas with side blinds, inner courtyards, loggias).
• 12 m² in exposed outdoor spaces: (Open terraces exposed to air flow). The medium wave directly targets the occupants.

Finally, both the heater and its Smartbox benefit from an industrial IP65 certification. They are dust-tight and resistant to water jets. The complete system can therefore be installed outdoors all year round and withstand heavy winter rain in total safety. Electrical note: as the unit draws 13.04 A, a dedicated line protected by a 16A or 20A breaker is required.
