HEATSCOPE® Smartbox: The brain of your thermal comfort
Far more than a simple accessory, the Smartbox is the intelligent control unit that transforms your infrared heater into a controllable, secure and flexible system.
1. A compact design with seamless integration
The Smartbox is not just a technical control box to hide away. Designed by Studio Bjørn Blisse, it features a compact 100 × 170 × 35.5 mm format that integrates naturally into the visual world of HEATSCOPE® heaters.
Available in black or white, it ensures visual consistency with your installation. Its compact size makes integration easier, while its IP65 rating guarantees excellent resistance to dust and water spray for use in protected or exposed outdoor environments.
2. Precise control: On / Off and 50% / 100% modulation
The Smartbox has been designed to provide simple and immediate operation. It allows you to control your heater with genuine flexibility, adjusting output according to real conditions.
The benefit of modulation: you can easily switch from 50% to 100% power depending on the weather, the season or the desired comfort level. This finer level of control improves everyday comfort and also helps optimise the electrical consumption of your installation.
3. Automatic shut-off: more comfort, more peace of mind
The Smartbox features a programmable safety timer with settings of 4, 6 or 8 hours.
This function is ideal for avoiding unnecessary operation after use. It provides genuine peace of mind in both residential and professional environments. When needed, this timer function can be deactivated to allow continuous manual operation.
4. Two Smartbox families to match your installation
The overall data sheet above covers four separate references, divided into two control approaches:
- MHS-SBOXIAB.100 and MHS-SBOXIWT.100: IR versions, supplied with the HEATSCOPE® infrared remote control.
- MHS-SBOXSAB.100 and MHS-SBOXSWT.100: Somfy® io-homecontrol versions, designed for integration into a compatible Somfy environment.
5. IR or Somfy® io-homecontrol: which version should you choose?
The IR version is ideal for projects looking for simple, direct and immediate control thanks to the supplied HEATSCOPE® remote.
The Somfy® io-homecontrol version is intended for installations already integrated into a Somfy smart home ecosystem. It allows the heating system to become part of broader comfort and home management scenarios. This version is designed for Somfy® I/O integration, but the Somfy remote control is not included in the delivery.
