Protecting the back of the heater from rain
HEATSCOPE® SPOT and VISION heaters must be sheltered from direct and frequent rain on their rear face. The manufacturer specifies a roof or compatible shield where installation is not sheltered.
This plate provides protection against rain. It does not make the heater suitable for every exposure condition.

Installation must maintain the clearances and ventilation specified in the instructions. Check the condition of the plate and remove deposits as described in the maintenance instructions.
Material and finish
The shield is made from aluminium with a black finish. Choose the colour to match the heater; it does not change compatibility.
