Heat and responsiveness
The SPOT 2200 All Black is the intermediate model in the range. It delivers heat directed towards an occupied area, with an 81 cm format taking up less room than the SPOT 2800.
Its two carbon elements let you choose between 1 100 and 2 200 W. Infrared control is particularly useful when the heater is mounted above seating and you want to adjust power remotely.
Radiant heat warms people and surfaces within its field. Wind can still reduce perceived comfort; a sheltered position remains preferable.
Black finish and orange light
The SPOT retains a visible orange light, specified as less than 600 lumens. Bear this in mind if you want a heater entirely without light.
The slatted front lets radiant heat through. It differs from the VISION’s ceramic glass front, whose light emission is lower.
The heater measures 81 × 18.4 × 7.8 cm and weighs 4.5 kg. Black matches pergolas and dark structures.
Heated area
The area that actually feels comfortable depends on height, orientation and exposure. Start with the seats to be heated rather than the patio’s total area.
Directing radiant heat
Direct the heater towards the table or outdoor lounge. Avoid obstacles between the heater and people.
Installation must protect the SPOT from direct rain, in accordance with its instructions. Its colour does not change this requirement.
The reflector directs radiant heat towards the front of the heater. Observe the clearances around the body and brackets.
Remote Control for the Heatscope Spot 2200
The infrared remote control is supplied with this reference. It switches on and off and selects the power level; the receiver must remain accessible to the signal.
You have two levels: 1 100 W or 2 200 W. Half-power operation reduces electrical demand without in itself guaranteeing a quantified saving over time.
- Power cable (without plug) for direct connection to the fixed electrical network.
- ON / OFF button to switch the unit on and off without the remote control.
- Appliance activation via infrared remote control.
- Power adjustment: 50% (1100W) or 100% (2200W).
