The Heatscope Vision 3200 Watts All Black is this range’s long version with wired controls. It is 166 cm long and delivers 3 200 W.
The black body and front match dark structures. Visible light is specified as less than 300 lumens, as on the white version.
A 166 cm heater
The stated mounting range is 1.80 m to 2.50 m, depending on configuration; ceiling mounting requires at least 2.2 m.
Direct radiant heat towards occupied seats. Wind and outdoor temperature affect comfort, even with 3 200 W output.
Provide a support and anchors suitable for the heater’s 11 kg weight. The supplied brackets allow wall or ceiling mounting according to the instructions.
Wired controls: preparing the connection
This version does not include an infrared remote control. It is intended for projects where controls are integrated with the installation.
The heater has a four-conductor cable to connect according to the manufacturer’s diagram. Have the controls and protective devices sized accordingly.
Two power levels are available:
- 50% mode (around 1600 watts): Half power for a lower need.
- 100% mode (3200 watts): Full nominal output.
Heated area
The comfortable area depends on positioning and exposure. Define the occupied area before choosing the number of heaters.
- Indoor environment: Identify the seats that will receive radiant heat.
- Sheltered outdoors: Protection from draughts improves comfort.
- Exposed outdoors: Wind exposure must be allowed for in sizing.

How is the 4-pin cable connected to provide the 2 heat levels?
The cable has four conductors. Have the electrician follow the instructions’ diagram to control the two levels; do not infer the connection from the number of wires alone.
Does the black ceramic glass reduce the heat output?
The ceramic glass is designed to let radiant heat through while reducing light. Choosing black does not change output compared with the white version.
What are the waterproofing and safety ratings?
The VISION has an IP44 rating. Protect it from direct rain and follow the mounting requirements in the instructions.
Can I install it vertically on a wall?
No. Heatscope carbon-technology heaters are designed to operate horizontally. They can be ceiling or wall mounted, but always with their long axis parallel to the ground, to ensure optimal operation and preserve the heating elements.
