At 1200 mm long, this version is intended for projects requiring the greatest drop in this range.
Choose the length according to the height of the support and the intended height of the heater. Include the dimensions of the heater and its brackets in your calculation.
The tubular extension kits for Heatstrip Design suspend the heater below its mounting point. Length alone does not guarantee comfort: also check the direction of the heater and the occupied area.
Determining the installation height
For the THH1500/2400/3200AEU series, the instructions recommend a height of 2.3 to 2.7 m. The extension helps position the heater within this range, taking the complete assembly into account.
Measure from the load-bearing support to the heater’s final position. Observe the minimum clearances from nearby materials; extensions do not allow you to reduce them.

Kit material
The instructions for this range describe 316 stainless steel tubes. The material does not remove the need to check the attachment to the support.
Provide a support capable of carrying the weight of the complete assembly. Check any particular exposure conditions in the heater’s instructions; the material alone does not establish suitability for coastal locations.
Contents and installation
The Design instructions specify two tubes and the parts that connect them to the heater. Select the ceiling anchors separately to suit the structure.
The complete kit contains:
- 2 extension tubes in rigid stainless steel.
- The mounting brackets required to connect to the mounting system.
- The connectors for a neat connection between tubes and heater.
- The screws for connection to the heater supplied in the kit.
