Set a compatible heater to switch off from the wall controller or its remote control.
Limiting operating time
The TT-MTR lets you select a timed period to avoid leaving a heater running after use.
It is a wall controller with infrared remote control for a compatible radiant heater. Its switching capacity must match the connected load.
Operating periods
Select a period according to how you intend to use the patio.
Programmed modes: 1 h / 2 h / 4 h
Choose one, two or four hours before automatic switch-off.
Continuous mode and remote control
Continuous mode keeps the heater running until it is switched off manually. Infrared control requires a line of sight to the receiver.
Allowing for the electrical load
The TT-MTR wall controller is designed for a maximum capacity of 16 amps. Have the connected heaters’ total output and the control arrangement checked.
As the Heatstrip manuals state, the controller must be installed in a dry location and in accordance with the applicable electrical regulations. It must not be placed in an area exposed to rain or direct water splashes.

What timer durations are available?
The TT-MTR lets you select three preset timed periods: 1 hour, 2 hours or 4 hours, as well as continuous operation without automatic switch-off.
What is the remote control range?
The infrared remote control has a range of around 10 metres and must remain within the receiver’s line of sight for correct operation.
Can the controller be installed outdoors?
The manual states that the TT-MTR must be installed in a dry location. It is therefore not intended for installation directly exposed to rain or water.
