Thermal Engineering: Virtually Zero Inertia

The internal architecture of the Spot 2800 is built around a dual high-density carbon fibre heating element. This technology gives the heater exceptional responsiveness: full nominal output is reached in just 3 seconds after switch-on.

Unlike convection heating systems that attempt to warm volumes of air, the IR-M infrared spectrum targets solid matter directly. Human bodies, floors and furniture absorb this radiation and convert it into heat. This instant response is a major operational advantage: it allows the heater to be activated only when the space is actually occupied, thereby avoiding the energy waste associated with preheating phases.

Power Management: 2800 Watts Under Control

With its 2800-Watt output, this model offers a particularly valuable thermal reserve for reception areas, covered terraces and semi-open spaces. This power level makes it possible to maintain an excellent degree of comfort even when conditions become cooler.

Optical Design: Patented Reflector and Soft Light Output

The extruded aluminium housing incorporates a ribbed rear reflector designed in Germany. This reflector limits energy loss towards the rear of the unit and efficiently channels the heat flow towards the occupied area. This system also contributes to the thermal stability of the whole appliance for durable and consistent use.

The visual signature of the Spot 2800 is particularly refined. Protected by a louvred grille and a vitroceramic screen, the incandescence of the carbon tubes is filtered. The unit produces only very low residual brightness, measured at less than 600 lux. This discreet orange glow preserves the evening atmosphere of your spaces and contrasts elegantly with the purity of the white housing, without ever causing glare.

Radiant Matrix and Spatial Coverage

To guarantee optimum efficiency, the unit must be positioned at a height between 1.80 m and 3.00 m, with installation often preferred around 2.40 m to 2.50 m under a pergola or covered ceiling. The area effectively covered then varies according to the zone’s exposure to air flows:

• Protected semi-open space: Approximately 12 m².
