Looking for a black heater with its controls included? The Heatscope Vision 3200 All Black combines a tinted ceramic glass front, two carbon heating elements and an infrared remote control. It is designed for covered patios with good protection from the wind, where you want to heat a dining or relaxation area without adding a strong red light.
At 166 cm long, this version offers the highest power in the VISION range shown here. Its completely black finish (All Black) complements anthracite beams, dark window frames and dark ceilings. Choose it for its combination of power, finish and built-in controls; dimensions and installation requirements are detailed below.
Subdued light for your evenings on the patio
Around a dining table or outdoor seating area, a heater contributes to the atmosphere as well as comfort. The VISION directs its radiant heat towards the people and surfaces in front of it. Its benefit is warmth for the occupied area with limited light emission.
The tinted ceramic glass front softens the light from the heating elements. A glow remains visible during operation. This gives you a heater with subdued light; it should not be confused with a panel that does not glow red.
Installation and orientation
Plan to position the heater above or facing the seats. The manufacturer’s general height range is 1.80 m to 2.50 m. For ceiling installation, the instructions require a minimum of 2.20 m. Also observe the clearances from walls and nearby materials, and provide protection against rain from above.
Wall and ceiling brackets are supplied. The 11 kg weight requires a suitable support: have the structure and electrical connection checked, particularly beneath a pergola or a suspended ceiling. You will find the instructions in the documents on this product page.
Which area can you heat with the VISION 3200 W?
Start with the space you actually use: the table, armchairs or bench. Power alone does not determine how many square metres can be heated comfortably. The points below help you assess your project; the calculator on this page lets you compare solutions using your measurements.
- Your patio is covered and well sheltered: The VISION is suited to this environment. Identify the occupied area and the possible direction of the heater.
- You want to heat several areas: Compare their layout rather than selecting a single heater based on the total floor area.
- Your space is open and exposed to wind: Use the calculator or ask for advice to compare a solution suited to these conditions.
Adjust the heat without leaving your seat
The supplied remote control lets you switch the VISION on and off and select its power. You do not need to buy a separate remote control for these functions.
- At 50 %, or 1600 W: To reduce the heat when full power is unnecessary.
- At 100 %, or 3200 W: To use the heater’s full power.
The right product code for your controls: This VT version has built-in infrared controls. If you are planning wall or centralised control, confirm which model is compatible before choosing between VT and VE.

Do I need to add a remote control or controller to use it?
For the functions described here, no: infrared control is built in and the remote control is included. You can switch the heater on and off and choose between the two power levels.
Can it be recessed directly into a suspended ceiling?
Not directly with the standard installation. The manufacturer offers specific solutions for certain recessed installations. Check compatibility and clearances before preparing a recess.
Why choose the All Black finish?
The black body and tinted front complement an anthracite structure or a dark ceiling. The finish is a visual choice; it does not change the 3200 W rated power.
What should I prepare before installation?
Measure the available height, identify the mounting support and plan the electrical supply. The instructions give the required clearances, particularly near a glazed roof. These checks help you choose the location before work starts.
