Heatscope® Pure All Black 3000 W + Smartbox Remote Control
The PURE All Black 3000 W with infrared Smartbox and included remote control. Choose between two output levels from your seat, with a black glass-ceramic front for your patio.
Infrared heater • PURE 3000 W • Infrared Smartbox included
HEATSCOPE PURE All Black with Smartbox: the remote control included in the pack
The black PURE and its infrared control box for adjusting output from your table or outdoor seating area.
For remote operation from installation onwards, this pack combines the Heatscope® Pure All Black with the infrared Smartbox and its remote control. You choose an equipped set rather than the heater and its control box separately.
The controls let you adjust output to your needs. They do not measure the patio temperature or replace correct sizing for the occupied area.
Simple controls for everyday use
The remote control saves you reaching the controls on a radiant heater installed overhead. However, the box must remain accessible to the infrared signal: its location is part of the installation plan.
The Smartbox connects between the power supply and heater. The supplied remote control allows switching on, switching off and choosing between 50 % and 100 % output.
At 50% (1500W), you reduce the electrical power drawn. This setting is useful when full output is not needed; it does not guarantee an equivalent reduction in your bill across the whole season.
Infrared or Somfy: two different packs
The box in this pack uses infrared. For a Somfy project, choose the pack with a Somfy io Smartbox. This standard version does not become io-homecontrol compatible through a simple setting.
Before choosing the control method, consider three questions:
- Is a dedicated remote control enough? The included remote allows local operation of the heater.
- Do you already have Somfy equipment? Have its protocol identified before choosing a Somfy pack.
- Where should the receiver go? Plan a position that allows the signal through, without enclosing the box within the structure.
The PURE with glass-ceramic front
The 3000 W radiant heater uses a dual carbon-fibre heating element. Position it to direct radiation towards people.
A long table may require a different arrangement from a small seating area. Comfort is not necessarily identical at every seat: consider distances, obstructions and open sides.
The black SCHOTT NEXTREMA® front reduces visible light without eliminating it. The PURE retains a residual glow during operation.
Choosing the finish
Protection and installation conditions
The heater has an IP65 rating. This does not permit every environment or cleaning method.
Follow the exclusions and clearances in the instructions, particularly for saline or chlorinated atmospheres. Only clean the heater when unplugged and cool, following the manufacturer’s guidance.
Questions about the infrared pack
Where should the Smartbox be installed?
Plan its mounting near the heater according to the configurations in the instructions, with a clear line of sight to the receiver. The box must not be hidden behind anything blocking infrared.
Do you need to aim the remote control at the box?
The infrared signal requires the receiver to remain unobstructed. Check its position from the seats where you will use the controls.
Does this Smartbox work with Somfy?
No, this pack includes the infrared version. The Somfy io pack includes a different box, designed for compatible controls.
How many square metres can the 3000W model heat?
Coverage depends on height, orientation and exposure. The calculator helps you plan your choice; a large area or several separate spaces may require multiple heaters.
